Calvary Bible Church teens

On behalf of the city of Grass Valley, I want to thank the hard-working teens from the Calvary Bible Church who performed a community service beyond what most people could imagine. Last Saturday, they showed up at Condon Park to pick up trash, but by the time the day was over, they had re-established the edge of the infield on the senior league baseball diamond and chipped an enormous amount of brush into mulch. Their efforts went a long way toward improving the safety and appearance of a popular community asset. We should all be thankful for community-minded youth such as these.
