Thomas L. Cox, a Nevada County resident, has been named a member of the 2002 Chairman’s Council. The council is for New York Life licensed agents who rank in the top 4 percent of the company’s sales force.

Sierra Fine Arts of Nevada City and the firm’s owner, Charlie Abernathybettis, were featured in the November issue of Modern Reprographics magazine.



Spiral Studios, a Nevada City Web site company, developed a new interface for the Nevada County government Web site, http://www.mynevadacounty.com.




WLS-TV in Chicago went live in September using digital news technology from Telestream, a Nevada City broadcast equipment company.

The ABC owned and operated station uses Telestream Flip Factory technology to automate the transfer of digital video files to a computer server. From there, editors can immediately access the video without manual video conversions.
