Bush unaware of deal?

I read that Bush was unaware of the pending sale of the shipping operations at six U.S. ports until the deal was already approved by his administration. Then who is the administration, if not Bush?

We’re selling our ports’ operations to Dubai? This is surreal; it sounds like a plot for a bad movie.

Now the spin begins with Bush threatening to veto any bill Congress may pass to block the agreement. The supporters are reassuring us that the sale is safe. I, for one, cannot be reassured by anything this administration tells us. Even the Republican House Majority Leader, Bill Frist, says that the deal “raises serious questions regarding the safety and security of our homeland,” and House Speaker Hastert has asked Bush for a moratorium on the sale until it can be studied further.

If Bush vetos a bill blocking the deal, let’s see Congress show some responsibility and override it.
