Bring the troops home now

So, Mr. President, where are the WMDs that we were told were a threat to the U.S.? The head of the CIA said we need to be patient and eventually we will find some. That is exactly what the United Nations asked of you, Mr. President, to be patient, to let them finish their inspections, before invading Iraq.

Isn’t that ironic? Now several thousands of young men and women of the Armed Forces are in harm’s way. All because of what many patriotic Americans believe to have been a fabricated threat to our country. This administration has asked these soldiers to look death and destruction in the eye, not only once, but twice. Thousands of Marines have been shipped to Iraq for a second deployment to this war torn country, just in time for Valentine’s Day. One of whom I love and care for very much. I love them all!

This is way too much to ask, Mr. President. They trusted you! I’m sure many still do, but there are many who don’t. They feel they have done their time. Many have gone AWOL, but we never hear about that or about the thousands of wounded soldiers. Support our troops, bring them home now!
