The California Waterfowl Association’s Gold Rush Crab Feed takes place Saturday, Feb. 28. Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7:30 p.m., at the Higgins-Lions Club Center, 22490 E. Hacienda Drive in Grass Valley. Proceeds will be used to conserve California’s waterfowl, wetlands and hunting heritage.

Tickets are $25 per life member, $50 per person, $80 per couple. For more information, call 268-1661.

Ducks Unlimited crab feed Feb. 19

The Nevada County chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold its annual fund-raiser, a crab feed at the Nevada City Elks Lodge on Feb. 19. Social hour is at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. There will also be an auction for a registered, 7-week-old chocolate lab puppy with a puppy package and lots of extras.
