Breakfast benefits NAMI education

NAMI Nevada County will hold its Celebrity Chef Pancake Breakfast featuring community leaders to kick off its educational Silver Ribbon Education campaign, “Stop the Stigma: Mental Illnesses are Brain Disorders.”

The event will be 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.Sept. 24 at the Quail Ridge Senior Living facility, 150 Sutton Way in Grass Valley. Cost for a full breakfast is $5.

The pancake breakfast is the first in a planned series of NAMI Nevada County sponsored community events spotlighting mental illness’ facts and myths.



Tickets are at The Bookseller, La Te Da, Odyssey Books, Harmony Books, Keepsake Jewelers and at the door. For more information, call 272-4566.
