Bicycling benefits

I am a dedicated bicycle commuter, I am 46 years old, and what do I have to show for it? Great health, strong legs, and no physical ailments. I commute between my home in Nevada City and my work in Grass Valley (about 6 miles each way), I have a car, but I choose not to drive it, so I don’t really care what the gas prices are.

Besides all the health benefits, I am able to work less because I don’t need to buy gas or maintain a vehicle.

We Americans are in a vicious cycle, because we want more so we have to work more, when we simplify, we actually reverse the vicious cycle and have more freedom, and we get lots of riding time so we can think deep thoughts.
