Bell-Hall wedding

Bevin Anne Bell and Charles M. Hall, both of Felton, were married Aug. 19 at the Coconut Grove in Santa Cruz. The service was officiated by Dutch Tessier.

Approximately 80 guests attended the Celtic “loving cup” ceremony, during which toasts and speeches were given by family and friends. A cocktail reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Gaylie Bell Stewart of Grass Valley and Robert R. Bell III of Nevada City. She is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and of the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a degree and honors in film. She is an independent filmmaker, actress, drama teacher and puppeteer.

The bridegroom is the son of Cheryl Hall of Grass Valley. He is a graduate of UC-Santa Cruz with a degree and honors in anthropology. He is an independent filmmaker and is the owner/operator of Charlie’s Landscaping.

The bride wore a robin’s-egg blue gown with crystals on the bodice and wrapped skirt. She wore her mother’s aquamarine ring and roses in her hair. She carried a bouquet of orchids, roses, bells of Ireland and hydrangeas.

The bride’s honor attendants were Elaine Gavin of San Francisco and Rena Bartley-Abella and Aren Bass, both of Santa Cruz.

The flower girl was the groom’s niece, Haley Cockman of Grass Valley.

The groom’s honor attendants were Will Ford, Davy Griffith and the groom’s sister, Olivia Cockman, all of Grass Valley.

Music was provided by the Celtic band, Isle of Light.

The photographers were Ray Beutens and the bride’s stepfather, Pierce Stewart.

The couple lives in Felton.
