Bear River FFA is first in national event

The Bear River chapter of the Future Farmers of America finished first in the national FFA Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event last week in Louisville, Ky.

The winning team consisted of Jen Arnall, Kevan Bell, Robert Harris, Carl Payne, Dustin Spence, David Tritel and alternate Liz Guerra. The team was coached by Steve Paasch.

This is the second time since 1998 that Bear River has won the national championship, and the fifth consecutive year the chapter has finished in the top five.
