Be wary of rash of tool thefts

It looks like a trend:

A flooring contractor had all his tools stolen. This crime is on the rise. Several area contractors have had tools stolen recently.

I am a landscaping contractor who does yard maintenance. On the second day of my annual vacation to spend Christmas with my family and visit my very ill mother, I got the phone call. My entire cage trailer full of all my maintenance tools was stolen. This is devastating to my business and all the tools had to be replaced immediately to continue uninterrupted service to my valued customers. The cost is around $15,000.

I offer a $500 reward if anyone returns my Mile High Gardening and Landscape trailer, blue license number 1HD7851.

Also, to all contractors, I understood that my full-coverage insurance on my truck also covered my trailer. I learned the hard way that this coverage does not include theft. Be sure you are covered and lock everything up. And, let’s look out for each other. Our families depend on us.
