Batter up?

I believe its “now” time for one person/agency who can step up to make “the executive” decision for a concrete barrier down Highway 49 from Grass Valley to Auburn. All the way – “yes”. Until a viable permanent solution to end cross lane/head on collisions, it remains.

No string of intersection lights, flashing lights, daylight headlights, and costly traffic consolations. An end to tragic deaths/injuries which can be stopped. The law of averages finds its way, and a school bus with children (no seat beats) may be involved. The individual/agency, you know who you are, step up now and take the courage “today” to make this decision.

The drivers and residents who live along this corridor may whine, moan, complain, write letters to “The Union.” They should have realized the future. I can only write this letter stating it turns my insides reading of death/injuries that could be prevented. I suggest the developers of “WMDs” (wide massive development) to help pay for a correct solution to end this before approval is given.

Enough said and written….Batter up?
