Bank raises $1,750 for Miners Foundry

Jack Crombie, president of Citizens Bank, presented a check for $1,750 recently to members of the Miners Foundry Cultural Center’s board of trustees.

The gift is designated for the Foundry’s restroom renovation project, scheduled to begin later this year.

The funds were generated by employees of the bank, who sold tickets for a drawing for a trip on KNCO radio’s annual Reno Snow Train trip, scheduled for early spring.

The drawing was held Jan. 3, and the winner was Ken Fazio. Community members interested in learning more about Miners Foundry and the upcoming restroom project should contact the Foundry at 265-5040
