AT and T Broadband can’t be reached

The United States Senate is debating whether or not this nation will go to war. Thanks to the arrogance (and greed?) of AT&T, we are denied the opportunity to view the debate. AT&T arbitrarily dropped CSpan2, giving us, their customers, no chance to participate in that decision.

I have tried to telephone Sacramento where they say they have a customer “care” center, but the program department is well protected from the madding crowd. Usually, when I call 800 842-2000, I get Tucson, Ariz. Once I got as close as Stockton. But never did I connect with the people who decided we were not eligible for CSpan2. Nor can our local Broadband office – which, as an indication of how much AT&T “cares,” is open only from 11 to 2 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – connect us to the appropriate Sacramento office.

I have written to Customer Service, 4350 Pell Drive, Sacramento, CA 95836, and have received no answer. Surprise! Surprise! I suggest to everyone who loves public broadcasting that we switch to a dish unless AT&T reverses its decision.
