As a small-business owner in Grass Valley

As a small-business owner in Grass Valley, I am pleased to see that Lisa Swarthout is running for a position on our City Council.

Lisa has a vast understanding of the needs for small business here in Grass Valley and in Nevada County. This business sense, combined with her knowledge of important land-use issues such as transportation and open space, makes her an ideal candidate for Grass Valley City Council.

Lisa’s years of service to her community includes chair of the Economic Resource Council, current chair of City Planning Commission and chair of the Grass Valley Downtown Association.
