As a registered voter, I was impressed by the recent

As a registered voter, I was impressed by the recent full-page endorsement in The Union by “Friends of Robin Sutherland.”

As a former English teacher, I was distressed by the poor quality of the statement itself. It may seem picky, put I noticed a dozen grammatical errors. (Example: “For we the undersigned, it’s…”) In my opinion, such lack of attention to details could reflect unfavorably on a candidate’s campaign. Maybe Robin’s Friends need a new proof-reader.

Nothing personal; I would give this endorsement statement – for any candidate – a grade of “D.”

(P.S. Sam Aanestad’s name was misspelled.)
