Anniversary – Santos

Frank and Nonie Santos of Grass Valley recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Santos planned three separate celebrations for their golden wedding anniversary. Married in Sacramento Jan. 30, 1955, they returned there on the same weekend this year. Later, a family celebration included three children and their spouses, seven grandchildren and a newly born great-grandchild. After that, the couple toured the four remaining states they had not visited: the Dakotas, Montana and Wyoming.

The Santos children are: Debi Russell of Nevada City, Scott Santos of Walnut Creek and Gary Santos of McHenry, Ill.

Mr. Santos is a retired executive. He enjoys golf, computers, the Alta Sierra Country Club and Knights of Columbus. He also sings tenor with Music in the Mountains.

Mrs. Santos is a retired homemaker who enjoys reading.

Mr. and Mrs. Santos recently moved from Danville to Grass Valley where they are enjoying a happy lifestyle.
