Charlotte and Freeman Andrews of Grass Valley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. They were married May 10, 1952, at St. Brendan’s Church in San Francisco.

An anniversary party was presented by the Andrews’ four children and their spouses on May 11 in West Sacramento.



The Andrews’ children are Craig and Debbie Andrews of Brentwood; Cheryl and Eric Eberhard of Camp Verde, Ariz.; Keith and Trudy Andrews of Sacramento and Kirk and Carrie Andrews of West Sacramento. There is one grandchild.

Mr. Andrews is retired from the agriculture business. His interests include horse breeding and forest management of private acreage.




Mrs. Andrews is a retired elementary school teacher. Her interests include quilting, mah jongg, gardening and the Women’s Health Initiative.

The Andrewses have lived in Nevada County for five years.
