Barbara and Lou Kosher

Barbara and Lou Kosher of Grass Valley recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. They were married on July 16, 1960, at St. Pius Church in Redwood City. They moved to Grass Valley in 1979.

The Koshers have two sons, Dennis (Diane) Kosher of Grass Valley and Robert (Malena) Kosher of Reno, Nev., and five grandchildren – Ashley and Brittney Kosher of Grass Valley and Kyla, Heather and Trevor Kosher of Reno.

Pat and Jerry Henderson

Pat and Jerry Henderson of Grass Valley celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 29.

The Hendersons were married June 29, 1968, in Long Beach.

Pat and Jerry are both retired and moved to Nevada County three years ago from Southern California.

The celebration included daughter Elisa Parker and son-in-law Michael of Nevada City, son Bryce Henderson and daughter-in-law Jen of Henderson, Nev., son Chad Henderson of Stockholm, Sweden, daughter Dorea Shoemaker and son-in-law Rodney of Incline Village, Nev., and grandchildren Maya, Payton, Henry, Aurora and Jasmine, as well as Pat’s mother, Doris Stevens of Grass Valley.
