Animals being saved

I am writing as a result of the letter … regarding AnimalSave. I am the volunteer coordinator at the Nevada County Animal Shelter; I do not represent AnimalSave.

I am an advocate for the animals. The real mission is to see to it that no more animals are homeless or neglected in Nevada County. AnimalSave has made a difference to the animals in this community. They have fostered 732 animals from our shelter. They have paid to have 2,596 animals spayed or neutered from this county. That’s where the money went.

AnimalSave, along with the Pet Adoption League, makes an enormous difference for the animals of this community. The point is not whether a shelter has been built, but whether animals’ lives have been saved.
