Amazing results

I began volunteering last summer and have spent most Saturdays since in helping prepare the Julia Morgan House for restoration. Our group “sweat equity” has produced amazing results. Thousands of pounds of trash, refuse and brush have been cleared and hauled away. Fire danger is significantly reduced and the house and grounds are far more presentable for tour groups.

Myself and fellow volunteers are confident that we will see the day that this architectual gem will possibly become a cross between the Asilomar Conference Center in Monterey and Villa Montalvo in Saratoga. When this day comes I will be so proud that I have been a part of this wonderful preservation effort. I am sure that both Mr. Wilson and Julia Morgan are looking down with beaming smiles on our efforts.
