A time for war

The wisdom of Solomon is that there is a time for war and a time for peace.

From our comfort zones, some of us are saying there is no justifiable war. But wait a minute, my friend. Have you decided to allow terrorists to slaughter the innocent women and children, rape and rob, at their will? I am willing to go along with Solomon. There is definitely a time for war. And a time for peace. If it takes more than 9/11 to wake us up to this reality, I am for moving to the North Pole.

By God’s grace, I survived World War II. I know firsthand how bloody it gets. But at 83, I will volunteer to fight any dictator who will brutally enslave his people and kill babies for being of a different race.

Now, we all know there is away to avoid war. Some call it the good neighbor policy. As the old song goes, there will be peace in the valley some day.
