A fond farewell

As some of you may have heard, we are relocating away from Nevada County. We have received heartfelt good wishes from so many patients, friends and acquaintances; we will miss you. We wanted to share a few remembrances that exemplify this area for us:

• Listening to KVMR, especially in power outages.

• Eating lunch at the South Pine Cafe.

• Watching soccer games on early fall mornings.

• Playing basketball at Deer Creek School.

• Being awakened by cannon fire (!) on Constitution Day.

• All the parades and street events.

• Shopping at SPD market.

• The wonderful schools that have served our three sons so well.

• Watching team sports and dances at the local schools.

• Friday nights at Cirino’s.

• Fishing at Lower Scott’s Flat Lake.

• Golfing at Quail Ridge – what other golf course has a barn hazard?

• Opening day of the Skate Park – Thanks, Chris Drainville!

• The Magic Theatre.

• Opening day of the fair and Treat Street!

Tony Lucero and Sara Richey, M.D.
