4-H Summer Day Camp registration slated April 22

Registration for the 2002 4-H Summer Day Camp will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. April 22 at the Grass Valley Veterans Building on South Auburn Street.



Registration will also take place at the 4-H Auburn office, 11477 E Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.




The 4-H summer day camp will be held at Cottage Hill, Hennessy, Oak Tree, Ready Springs and Scotten schools. Each site will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays from June 10 until the new school year begins. Two snacks are served each day.

The children will swim Tuesday and Friday. Field trips are also scheduled.

Contracts and a $25 registration fee must be received in the 4-H office by 5 p.m. May 3 to qualify for the $10 early registration credit. The contracted rate is $22 per day; the drop-in rate is $28 per day. Space is limited; priority is given to full-time enrollees.
