Writing teacher, poets share works

Writing teacher Judy Crowe will showcase her words before a non-academic setting this Friday.

Crowe is an English and creative-writing teacher at Sierra College and a creative-writing teacher at the University of California at Davis Extension. Crowe, Carmen Sterba, and Jack and Adelle Foley will be guests at Friday’s Nevada County Poetry Series reading at Center for the Arts, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Open mikes will be held before and after the guests read.

Admission is $7 general admission and $5 for seniors and students.

Center for the Arts is at 314 W. Main St., Grass Valley.
