WorldFest early bird ticket deadline today

WorldFest planning is underway for July 13-16 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley.

WorldFest is pleased to announce the addition of acoustic music super band Nickel Creek to the Friday lineup. Taking the acoustic scene by storm with their innovative gumbo of rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical music played with a jam band mentality, Nickel Creek promises to make the Music Meadow sparkle with sound.

Back by popular demand, the amazing Stars of the Peking Acrobats return with their awe-inspiring gymnastics and juggling and mind boggling fearlessness. Ya gotta see ’em to believe ’em.

WorldFest Favorite Alasdair Fraser fiddles his way back with a whole host of friends to play Celtic music the Scottish way – and, he will once again host his infamous “Kitchen Party” so bring your instruments.

Finnish band Gjallarhorn chimes in with modern twists on Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish acoustic folk driven by furious strings and soaring vocals. Spine tingling stuff.

Women in Docs are another gem from Australia making their first WorldFest appearance. Playing Aussie folk, their stirring’ addictive melodies ring with down to earth humor.
