Woman injured in rollover crash

A woman suffered minor injuries this morning when her vehicle veered off the Highway 49 and flipped over into a ditch just south of the Nevada County line.

The single-vehicle accident was reported at 10:52 a.m. south of Cramer Road.

Firefighters and the CHP responded to the accident and determined one woman had occupied the vehicle.

She was reported to have minor injuries, according to a Calfire dispatcher, and she was transported by ambulance to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.

The cause of the accident is presently unknown. The woman was not cited on suspicion of drunken driving, according to the CHP Web site, and a tow truck responded.
