Why should I pay $8 to endure movie ‘rude-girl’?

Movie “rude-girl”: I owe you an apology. The $8 admission gave me no right to expect a quiet, uninterrupted movie last Friday.

I was rude to interrupt your insightful diatribe on the actors and their dialogue. I should’ve been tolerant.

However, I didn’t realize the depth of your intellect until later as your cackle accompanied every death on the screen. Furthermore, it was dark and I didn’t see that the world truly did revolve around you.

I’ve since pondered your sophomoric words of wisdom. You told me “this is what 16-year-olds do,” and I shouldn’t come to the movies if I didn’t want to put up with behavior like yours.

On the first assertion, you’re wrong. It was you, “rude-girl,” not the other 16-year-olds with you that created the problem. My 16-year-old would be dead if I caught him acting like you were. You demonstrated, some teenagers are challenged by manners.

About movies, you’re right. Gone are the days when people could expect to enjoy a movie. Cretins like you have ruined four of five movies for me in the last year by yapping or with phones. I’ll no longer waste my money at theaters and therefore never interrupt you again.
