Why locally?

I just called one of our local pet stores to inquire about the prices of bird cages. I was told they had just gotten a lot in of all sizes and prices. I gave the approximate size I was looking for, so she put me on hold. Shortly after, she came back and once again told me that they had a lot of cages ranging from $59.99 on up, depending on the size. I can get this information from the Internet; I was asking for a particular cage to buy. If she couldn’t bother to at least ask my name and phone number and get the information for me, then why should I bother buying there? I, too, can shop down the hill and maybe find someone who will take the time to help me.
