Whimsical animals, sculptures and abstract paintings on display

Gallery II’s new featured artists Carol Bellamy and Nancy Cowan will be at a free reception Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Currently on display through May 2 are Bellamy’s collection of whimsical animal, figure, aluminum forest and copper tree wire sculptures and Cowan’s abstract paintings based on pencil drawings done by her husband while he was in the final stages of Alzheimer’s Disease.

The reception includes jazz by Ludi Hinrichs and refreshments.
