Where are the bikes?

Now that the city has installed these beautiful bike trails all along Ridge Road, Sierra College Drive and down into Grass Valley, where are the young people riding their bikes?

I live on Sierra College Drive, and every morning I see the same traffic jam of hundreds of cars heading for Nevada Union High School. Perhaps the school could give some incentives to encourage the students to ride instead of drive? I believe it isn’t any better at Sierra College. The trails are there, but the riders are missing.
