Cooper’s Saloon, whose motto is “we simply do not allow you music lovers to rest,” has reopened after its mini-remodel as “a musical club with a bar, rather than a bar with music,” says Mikail Graham, who books the bands. See the results.

Thursday: Sticky Vikki & The Pinecones, traditional and alternative C&W; 8 p.m.-ish Ð 11 p.m. $3 cover.

Friday: Las Pesadillas; opening: The Juicy Bits, rock’n funky jams; 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m. $5 cover.

Saturday: Alma Melodiosa, Flamenco-delic dance grooves, 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m. $5 cover.

Sunday: 2 p.m.-5 p.m., NASCAR 4 Lane Slot Car Racing – fun with computer control. No cover.

Tuesday: Live Open Mike Night with your host, Albert Martinez; 8 p.m.-ish-12 a.m. No cover.
