We need a separate yellow pages to list all of our phone books!

Now that it is the middle of summer, the delivery of three local phone books within weeks of each other is at hand. Hard to believe that the contents must be different in each, else why would we be so blessed?

With the economic conditions such as they are and the attempt of greening of our area, is it really necessary? A better solution would be for the publishers to meet and agree to stagger publication with a four- month difference. That is if we really do think that phone numbers change that often. A minimum of two per household will end up in the overcrowded landfill.

Please! No more.
