Wayne Perkins

Private family services for Wayne L. Perkins of Grass Valley will be conducted.

Mr. Perkins died Saturday, Oct. 21, in Grass Valley. He was 86.

He was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Kansas, to Trueman and Icey Perkins. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Eloise on May 5, 1942, in Independence, Kan. He worked for the San Diego Pipeline Co. as a station manager. He was a member of the Rotary of Orange. He enjoyed working.



He is survived by his wife, Eloise of Grass Valley; daughters Judy Liles of Calimese, and Debbie Wilson of Grass Valley; sons David of Hanford, Ron of Barrington Heights, Ill., and Mark of Clovis; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
