Warm weather moving into Nevada County

Forecasters say the threat of rain has passed for western Nevada County and a dry, warming trend began this afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Sacramento said temperatures will remain relatively cold today and tonight, with highs in the mid-40s and lows in the upper 30s. Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs climbing back into the mid to upper 60s and lows in the mid-40s with little wind and no precipitation.

There is a chance for rain to return Thursday and Friday as clouds move back in and highs dip again into the mid-50s, with lows in the mid-30s.
