Warm weather equals noise pollution

The hot weather seems to bring out every noisy Harley rider in the country. Why do they want to make so much noise? Our streets and highways are crawling with these people who love making our nerves and windows rattle.

I see loud, illegal motorcycles as a big problem in both Grass Valley and Nevada City and on Highway 49. The noise pollution they create gets unbearable, especially on weekends. I share the frustration of last month’s letter writer who asked why we have to put up with inconsiderate behavior from these folks.

Where are the cops? Why can’t they enforce the noise ordinance? How about writing tickets for these illegal exhaust pipes?
