Walt Petray

Walt Petray, 85, of Camptonville died Wednesday, April 6, in Camptonville.

No services are planned.

Mr. Petray was born July 25, 1919, in Geyserville to Jesse W. Petray Sr. and Mae Hammersley Petray. He was a heavy equipment operator. He lived most of his life in Lake County before moving to Camptonville a few years ago. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sons Jim Petray of Glendale, Ore., Butch Petray of Lake County, Bob Petray of Tendoy, Idaho, and Dave Petray of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Betty Cooper of Sparks, Nev.; ex-wife, Elaine Petray of Camptonville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
