Walgreens won’t affect traffic

Does anyone really believe that if Walgreens opens in the old Jim Keil site, it will generate 1,389 “more” vehicle trips? I, for one, shop at Longs (having given up on other nearby pharmacies years ago because of slow pharmacy service and out-of- stock items).

Over the years, the wait at Longs’ pharmacy has become longer and longer.

In my humble opinion, the intersection we’re talking about will not incur 1,300- plus new vehicle trips, only a redistribution of customers shopping in the area.
