Volunteers vs. goons

As I was flying to work in my Black Hawk helicopter provided by the United Nations Secret Committee to Overthrow the World, I used my secret spy scope to read, “Charges of ‘smear’ don’t change truth,” the story being created by “The Pretty Darn Swift Union Staff for Truth,” whose identity is known only to me and my liberal traitorous buddies.

The Union again falls in to line with the corporate giant Southern Pacific Industries and their stooges on the Nevada County Board of Supervisors and Grass Valley City Council in dismissing the public’s acquisition of property for public use as a criminal plot. What sleuths!

Our community abandoned to vandals what could someday be recognized as a national treasure, Julia Morgan’s first house.

Ackerman’s accusation of possible criminal intent by the Land Trust is typical of the hallucinogenic boomtown mentality that has dominated politics in Nevada County for all but four short years.

He’s going to find out where every penny went. I hope he does, and also counts in the thousands of volunteer hours Conklin’s directed to undo the devastation to our community, our heritage and our environment by the goons at the Good ol’ Boy Saloon.
