Volunteer at California’s largest, richest gold mine

Volunteer classes are now being formed for the spring training program at Empire Mine State Historic Park in Grass Valley.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available at Empire Mine State Historic Park. These include tour guides, gift shop sales, historic rose garden care, the Over-the-Hill Gang for building maintenance and construction projects, blacksmithing, Living History and much more.

Group interview sessions will be held in January and February. Classes begin in mid-March.
