Virginia Haven

Virginia L. Haven, 83, of Grass Valley died Saturday, July 31, in Chicago Park.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no services.

Mrs. Haven was born Dec. 4, 1920, in Auburn, to William Henry and Mary (Fournival) Johnson. She graduated from high school in Hayward. She married Edward B. Haven on Feb. 5, 1939, in Hayward. She was a audio visual department clerk for the Placer Office of Education. She enjoyed gardening.



She is survived by her husband, Edward B. Haven of Grass Valley; daughter, Victoria Z. Bowers of Palm Desert; grandsons David Bowers of Dowmey, Edward M. Bowers of Sherman Oaks, Eric Haven of Palo Alto, and William H. Bowers of Reno, Nev.; and granddaughter, Christine Sincerbox of San Jose. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 12399 Nevada City Highway, Grass Valley 95945.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
