Velda Arbaugh

Velda Viola Arbaugh, 73, of Citrus Heights, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, at home.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no services.

Mrs. Arbaugh was born March 27, 1931, in Stringtown, Okla. She moved to Grass Valley in 1946. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock hunting, cooking, square dancing and camping. She also enjoyed plants and gardening and watching the changing colors in the different seasons.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ezra Arbaugh of Citrus Heights; sons and daughters-in-law Danny and Karen Long of Grass Valley, and Dennis and Cathy Long of Galt; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Denis Beller of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters-in-law Jackie Carr of Nevada City, and Violet Watkins of Grass Valley; brother-in-law, Glen Jones of Grass Valley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Troy and Pauline Arbaugh of Grass Valley, and Chuck and Eleanor Arbaugh of Butte, Mont.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Roy Sharpe of Grenada; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
