University choir to perform with NUHS singers

The Chapman University Choir and the Nevada Union High School Concert Choir will perform Jan. 17 in Grass Valley.

The Orange County university choir is directed by Dr. William Hall. He also directed Verdi’s “Requiem” in Rome in June, in which 57 NU Choir members participated.

Hall’s choir concertizes throughout the United States, former Soviet Union, China, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The choir was featured in the movie “Sister Act II.”

The performance will begin 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1866 Ridge Road.

Call NUHS choir director Rod Baggett at 273-4431 for more information about the free concert.
