Women’s Club Announces 2020 Board of Directors

At a sold-out Lake Wildwood Women’s Club “Meet and Greet” event held on Feb. 14, Elizabeth Gonzaga, who will continue this year as parliamentarian, presented the 2020 board of directors.

They are Sandy Yanko, Co-President; Donna Ainsworth, Co-President and Raffle; Mary Teborek, Co-Vice President; Bobbie Tomasello, Co-Vice President; Sally Monestier, Treasurer; Janna Berry, Secretary; and Barbara Ceresa, Membership and Sunshine.

Committee chairs are Kathy Hendricks, Reservations; Lynn Amaral, Decorations; Terry Fay, Publicity; Connie Higginbotham, Hospitality; and Ginni Herron, Webmaster and Grapevine Publisher.

In 2019 the Women’s Club donated a total of $4,107 to a number of local philanthropies, including the Nevada County Diaper Project, Interfaith Food Ministry, Nevada County Food Bank, SNMH Foundation Breast Cancer Center, Women of Worth, Lake Wildwood Holiday Craft Fair Raffle and the LWA Employee Holiday Fund.

Throughout the year there are fun and worthwhile events to attend including a spring luncheon, the always popular luncheon and fashion show in the fall and a holiday brunch in December.
