Lake Wildwood Women’s Chorus — Three Holiday Concerts
November 4, 2018
Celebrate the upcoming holidays and treat your family and friends to one of the Lake Wildwood Women's Chorus (LWWC) holiday concerts!
Three concerts are planned for your convenience: Friday, Dec. 7, at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7:00 pm; and Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be in the Cedar Room in the Clubhouse. Note that these dates are all on the same weekend.
Tickets will be $10.00 per person in advance or $15.00 at the door (if available). Tickets will not be ordered via email as in the past. They will only be available from chorus members or from in-person sales at the Clubhouse.
First dates and times to purchase tickets at the Clubhouse: Thursday, Nov. 1, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 3, 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, Nov. 7, 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Check e-Bits every week to find future sales dates at the Clubhouse. Buy tickets in advance and chat with chorus members wearing red and white holiday headgear!
Vicki Goss, director, and Janet Rossman, accompanist, have been working with the chorus since September. Thanks to them, the singers are ready to perform! Expect a wide variety of carols and holiday songs to brighten your holidays.
In addition to the chorus, Bob Rossman will make a long-awaited vocal appearance … it's been a long time!
Also, Bren Altenbach will be back after his performance of James in "James and the Peach." Richard Altenbach, violin, and Shannon Devir, flute, will accompany the chorus. New instrumentalists have also been added: Sid Page, violin; Bill Hale, percussion; and Steve Nicholson, bass. You won't want to miss this program!
Two smaller groups from within the chorus will entertain you as well as the popular Chimers. Mary Scovel, arranger and director of the Chimers, will lead the 12 gals in a special Christmas favorite. And, of course, the entire chorus of over 40 women will be the stars!
New this year will be bar service in the Cedar Room on Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday afternoon the regular bar will be open. If you wish to add a meal in the Pine Room on any of the dates, call (530) 432-1152 to make reservations. Make sure to inform your server when you order that you will be attending the concert.
Please mark your calendars and get your tickets soon. The Lake Wildwood Women's Chorus looks forward to entertaining you in December and getting you in the holiday spirit.
