Important Advisory – No Lake Swimming

Re. Lake & Beach Use

Nevada County Public Health Department has issued a Public Safety Announcement regarding E. Coli infections possibly linked to the Community Center Pool Beach. They have also issued an advisory to avoid using the Lake for recreational use (swimming, waterskiing, etc.), pending results of testing of the Beach and Lake. Please refrain from recreational swimming, waterskiing (or getting in the water) in the Lake until further notice.

Below are links to a PSA and E.Coli Fact Sheet from Nevada County Public Health Department. Please seek care right away if you experience the symptoms mentioned in these documents.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.

If you have questions please email info@lakewildwood.net or call Public Works at 432-1170.
