True life stories

A family of creative people, from Truckee to Lake of the Pines, has produced a book, “Epiphany and Her Friends: Intuitive Realizations that Have Changed Women’s Lives.”

Patti Heapy of Lake of the Pines wrote Chapter 11, about her 97-year-old mother.

Her daughter-in-law, Kelly Heapy in Truckee, both designed the cover and wrote Chapter 5, about a trip to Peru. Kelly’s mother, Jo Ann Brown-Scott, wrote a couple of chapters and is editor of the 2007 self-published book.
