We’re a fun group. Trips are always on Friday, once a month.

Roadrunners

May 21: Feats of Clay festival in Lincoln. Tour Gladding McBean terra cotta factory in an antique fire engine, then view all the art submitted for the competition. No host lunch in Lincoln.

June 12: Cornerstone Place and Cline Winery. Tour of the unique gardens at Cornerstone, shopping in eclectic boutique shops and hosted lunch. Then across the highway to Cline for wine tasting, enjoy the stunning grounds and see the scale models of all the California missions.

June 16-17: Floorplay at the El Dorado in Reno. Competitive professional ballroom dancing at its best in the showroom at the El Dorado. Includes dinner and breakfast buffets, transportation and show.

July 11: Nugget in Sparks. Some rebates. Four hour turn around.

Nevada County Travel Club

March 12: Next regular luncheon meeting at the Grass Valley United Methodist Church, 236 South Church Street. Reservations are necessary for luncheon and may be made by calling Patt at 477-2467. Once made, reservations need to be honored.

March 17-18: St. Patrick’s Mystery Trip in the Monterey/Carmel Area. Includes Motorcoach transportation, overnight at a historic inn, a fantastic tour of the area. Entry to all activities, plus luncheon at the place you’ve always wanted to try. Can work you in if you call right away!

April 4-11: “Southern Charm” visits Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Jekyll Island and St. Simon’s Island at probably the loveliest time of year. This trip is on a waitlist only basis, but we quite often get late cancellations, so call if interested.

May 22: “Phantom of the Opera” at the Sacramento Musical Theatre for a matinee.

June 27: “Holland/America” Cruise to Alaska for seven days, or take a cruisetour for 13 days. Space available, but those who call first get the best cabins.

July 10: “The Sound of Music” at the Music Circus in Sacramento.

July 17: “Gypsy” – Music Circus.

July 31: “Swing” – Music Circus.

March 22: Silver Legacy. Reno, cash back and food credit.

April 24: Castello di Amorosa. Sattui Winery Castle in Calistoga, wine tasting, Jessel Art Gallery, Yountville Vintage 1870 shopping, continental breakfast. April 22 departure sold out!

May 3: Cruising the Mothball Fleet of Suisun Bay with historian aboard the Delphinus for a waterside view around and through the fleet.

June 24: Rosie the Riveter. World War II Home Front National Historical Park and the SS Red Oak Victory.

July 20-28: Trains of the Colorado Rockies.
