April 24: Castello di Amorosa. Sattui Winery Castle in Calistoga, wine tasting, Jessel Art Gallery, Yountville Vintage 1870 shopping, continental breakfast. April 22 departure sold out!

May 3: Cruising the Mothball Fleet of Suisun Bay with historian aboard the Delphinus for a waterside view around and through the fleet.

June 24: Rosie the Riveter. World War II Home Front National Historical Park and the SS Red Oak Victory.

July 20-28: Trains of the Colorado Rockies.

Aug. 31-Sept. 7: Alaska Cruise.

Oct. 25: Cruising the Petaluma River. Old Town Petaluma, three hour cruise aboard the Delphinus with historian.

March 21-April 1, 2009: Mexico’s Colonial Jewels. Mexico City, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara, Morelia, seven UNESCO Heritage sites, and more. Spanish speaking escort. Airfare from Sacramento included.

March 13: The world famous San Francisco Flower and Garden Show at the Cow Palace. Includes transportation and admission.

March 16-17: Teatro ZinZanni. Five course dinner and three hour show at Teatro ZinZanni on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Includes all of the above and overnight at the Tiburon Lodge.

April 12-19: Southern California including Cambria, Hearst Castle, Morro Bay, Solvang, Santa Barbara, Getty Villa in Malibu, Queen Mary, Catalina Island, Huntington Library and Gardens and more.

May 3: Melodies in the Garden and Chocoholics Factory Tour. Tour and sample at the chocolate factory, then fine dining and outdoor concert at a charming bed and breakfast in Clements.

May 21: Feats of Clay festival in Lincoln. Tour Gladding McBean terra cotta factory in an antique fire engine, then view all the art submitted for the competition. No host lunch in Lincoln.

June 16-17: Floorplay at the El Dorado in Reno. Competitive professional ballroom dancing at its best in the showroom at the El Dorado. Includes dinner and breakfast buffets, transportation and show.

Scheduled for 2009:

Spring: Disneyworld and tour of southern states.

Summer/Early Fall: National Parks (Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Mt. Rushmore, Estes Park to name a few).

November: Branson.

Travel Club

March 17-18: “St. Patrick’s Mystery Trip” to the Monterey/Carmel Area. This is an outstanding get away you will really enjoy. The Monterey Coast should be at its loveliest in early spring. Includes round-trip deluxe motorcoach transportation from Grass Valley, overnight accommodations at a comfortable hotel, full breakfast and entry fees to all attractions we visit. Must be booked now!

April 4-11: “Southern Charm” visits Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Jekyll Island and St. Simon’s Island. This trip is full now, but we are taking a wait list and we do occasionally have cancellations, so let us know if you want to be on the waitlist.

May 22: “Phantom of the Opera” at the Sacramento Musical Theatre. Leaves at noon for a Thursday matinee.

June 27: “Alaska Cruise” on Holland/America Line for a week’s cruise or a thirteen day cruisetour you won’t soon forget. Call now to book your cabin.

July and August: Sacramento Music Circus Shows, Thursday matinees. We have group space booked for the following shows: “Sound of Music,” July 10; “Gypsy,” July 17; “Swing,” July 31; “My Fair Lady,” August 7; “Evita,” August 14. Call now to be put on any of the above show lists.

Sept. 10-17: “Along the Columbia River with Lewis and Clark,” a one week tour to the Pacific Northwest that really gives you the feeling of following in the footsteps of these two fascinating explorers.

This interesting motorcoach tour is led by Todd Weber and his wife, Nadine. Todd is an excellent historian who really makes history come alive. This will fill up fast and needs to be deposited now.
