Nevada County Travel Club

Feb. 15-22: Barging on the Mississippi River, the Atchafalaya River, the intracoastal waterway at the Inland Gulf, freshwater swamps, lakes and bayous. “Cajuns and Creoles” is the theme. Must be booked right away in order to get to go. Airfare from Sacramento is optional. Barging is very informal but with all the comforts of home. Entertainment is of the best quality each night. Shore excursions are included and no tipping allowed.

Feb. 28-March 5: Spring warm up. Trip includes tour of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Fabulous Follies and dinner in Palm Springs, Palm Springs Air Museum, Getty Museum, Huntington Library, Buck Owens show in Bakersfield.

March 29-April 11: Washington, D.C., Virginia, and the Carolinas. Some highlights include Smithsonian Museums in D.C., Monticello, Mt. Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, and much more.
