Toddlers may now enroll in college

Children between 18 and 36 months are getting an early start on school at Sierra College Child Development Center Toddler Program.

The free program started last week with money from several grants, and is still accepting new enrollments to fill up to 16 spots.

Operated by the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools office, the program joins a preschool already operating at Sierra College. The Child Development Center offers daycare for children of current college students and serves as a practicum for students taking early childhood education classes.

For enrollment information, contact Carol Viola at (530) 273-9528.
